LØCI, a shoe company, is quickly establishing itself by using only vegan materials.
A new line of vegan sneakers made from corn leather has been unveiled by London-based shoe brand LØCI.
The shoes are designed to imitate the luxurious appearance and texture of animal leather, as per the brand’s statement. 50% of the material used in their production is maize waste while the other 50% is recycled polyurethane, and they are claimed to be 63% biodegradable. It is worth noting that these materials offer a significant advantage over animal leather as they can last up to four times longer.
The majority of the new collection features black and white sneakers, although a few pairs are available in red, green, and blue. They are all handmade in Portugal, and described as “for the eco conscious trendsetter.”
