House Bill 435, introduced by Tyler Sirois, aims to put a stop to the manufacturing, sale, holding, or distribution of cultivated meat within the state of Florida.

If approved, individuals who break the law may be charged with a second-degree misdemeanor and fined up to $1,000. In the state of Florida, if a restaurant or retail store violates the law, they could potentially face serious consequences such as having their license suspended or receiving an immediate stop-sale order.
